She specializes in working with students who have Executive Function Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and Specific Learning Disability. In addition, she provides general tutoring support and administers learning evaluations to determine a student’s academic strengths, weaknesses and preferred learning style.
Donna Portny
donna@foundationforlearning.comDonna is our SAT/PSAT verbal coach and the administrator of the SAT simulation. She also prepares students for the ACTs and private school admission tests. As a general tutor, Donna sees students of all ages for a wide range of subject matter. Donna earned a BS in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University and an MA in Guidance and Counseling from George Washington University.- Bonnie Baumert
bonnie@foundationforlearning.comBonnie provides tutoring for elementary age through adult students in German, French, and English as a Second Language (ESL). In addition she provides test preparation for the Advanced Placement (AP) and SAT II exams in French as well as other placement exams. Bonnie holds a BA in French and a Masters in Education. Lastly, Bonnie is a certified AP instructor and an AP reader for the French Language exam. - Fran Bianchini
fran@foundationforlearning.comFran is one of Foundation for Learning’s math experts. She provides tutoring as well as SAT/ACT test preparation. Fran teaches several levels of mathematics, including Algebra I and II and Geometry. Fran earned her BA in child development and education at Tufts University and an MA in special education at NYU. -
Elin Hanson
elin@foundationforlearning.comMath tutoring and test preparation is Elin’s area of expertise. She tutors in math at all grade levels and subject including Calculus and Statistics. Her math test preparation includes SAT, SAT II, GMAT, HSPA and ACT tests. Elin earned a BS in Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from University of Texas, Austin.
Julie Kozakewich

Julie provides subject tutoring for students in grades K-5. She works with middle school students focused on science, social studies, and language arts. Julie holds a BA in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Special Education from Lock Haven University. She also completed a Masters program for Curriculum and Instruction at Caldwell College. Julie is certified in early childhood, elementary, and special education. She is a nice addition to the FFL tutoring team.
